The Unveiling of the Alday Family Memorial Monument on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 7019 River Road near Donalsonville, GA. It is in memory of the Alday family who were tragically and brutally slain on May 14, 1973, which at the time, was the largest mass murder in Georgia's history. The Alday's were a great Christian family and staple in their church and community and this event would change the entire community for decades. Their names were Ned Alday and his sons, Jerry, Chester, Jimmy, Jerry's wife Mary, and Ned's brother Aubrey Alday.(Photo provided by Donalsonville News and Uploaded by Dewayne Allday)
